Last night's test was a nightmare.
Open book = You know it somewhere but dont noe where to find it.
Especially for this module, with thick compendiums, EPA, journals, I felt like I dint prepare for it.
Well, indeed.
Two hours before the test, I was still trying to finish the last topic.
Half an hour before the test, von, dear and I was hugging the Buddha's leg. (which according to Dear, is not enough for us. 2 legs for three persons?!)
Frantically asking one another questions that we have no answer to.
But thankfully, IT'S OVER!
O-V-E-R!

This is basically what von and I had been wearing to school for the past two weeks.

SPECS!
Which is so comfortable for us due to the night lectures and looooong hours in lab.
And the reason I bought the top was ...

THE GERMAN WORDS!
I totally dont noe what it means though!
Only know some words here and there, it doesnt seem to mean anything!
And I was so worried when I wore it on Friday!
'Cause of the (handsome & super clever) German guy in our analytical class!
I was so worried the phrase may be something funny or ridiculous!
haha!

Anyway, just a random thought.
I think that people like me can end up nowhere.
I dress up for school.
But in Science, or rather in lab, I feel that they think dressing up = bimbotic = no brain.
But in other places, no matter how nicely im dressed, once they hear that im from Science, i feel that they will think science students = t-shirt & jeans = no style.
Why Science students cant dress nicely?
Why cant I dress nicely for labs?
Why must they look at me as if I dont belong there?
Maybe I really dont.

Few years ago, a guy (I think) made a comment on NUS FoS girls on his blog.

"We can change the motto to “NUS Faculty of Science – Brains need no Beauty.” ... I used to have this theory that “A young and slim girl can’t look too bad.” The students in Life Sciences made me eat my words. ...

T-shirts, polo-tees and cargo pants seemed to be the standard uniform of the students here. The fashion sense of the students is appalling. ... Even my mum dresses better when buying fish and vegetables from the market."

Too bad I cant trace back to his blog as it was shut down, and according to many, it's due to the flaming he'd got after the post on FoS girls.

Hmmm, what can I say.
The mentality that is fixed in many people.

A conversation Dear and I had weeks ago.
"Dear, regarding the present for our third anniversary..."
As I was really broke, the word present scare me.
Before he could finish, I interrupted and said
"Aiya, no need present la. Em, I noe i noe, we're busy, no time to buy present mah!"
"Huh really? I was about to say I want to sponsor you to buy your handphone. But since you'd said that, then it's ok."
"Serious?! But I've got no money to buy you a present!'
"Just buy me a laptop bag will do. Good enough."
The reason is that he cant stand my hp anymore.
haha.
Indeed, it's about 4yrs old already!
So, we went online to check out the phones immediately.
And this captured our eyes.

HTC Hero.
AKA iPhone killer.
At a price that I think is too steep for me.
We shall see.
