When von went home today, she said "jia you".
Later on Dear came to retrieve his bag.
Before he went off, he said "jia you".
Seriously, that's what I need now.
Although these two words can do nothing in reducing my work, at least I felt really encouraged.
And I can smile from within.
Im really thankful and grateful that I have Dear and von with me.
They're always there to listen to my whines and complaints.
Otherwise, I don noe what to do with all the pent-up emotions.

Im really a long long looooooong way from completion.
Although this holiday will be intense labs for me, I still cant complete much.
Next week, the nightmare shall begin.
We're doing repeated frying for 4 days continously.

Day 4

Oil after frying 31x to 40x --- x6
Chloroform extract 31x to 40x --- x6
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
TOTAL: 180 Samples for NMR and 180 for GC-MS

GRAND TOTAL: 720 SAMPLES FOR NMR AND 720 FOR GC-MS

And the worst is

IM GONNA REPEAT THIS FOR ANOTHER WEEK.

And the worst of the worst (which I hate most) is the washing!
We definitely don have enough apparatus to last us for a week, so I'll need to wash them EVERYDAY AFTER THE ALREADY TIRING SAMPLE PREP.

The more I thought of it, the more I hope this week never end and next week never start.
But at least I have something to look forward to tml.
Stayover at Ping's.
Like finally.
Even though it's only for a night, I cant help feeling excited.
Tif will be off to Canada for a month or so. :((
We're always separated by distance.
Anyway, this time round, we have a new addition -- Hui.
It's like back to old days.
Really.

oh yes.
It's finally over.
But somehow, I don't feel relieved.
Neither do I feel happy or whatsoever.
This "holiday" is very different from the past years'.
Instead of relaxing, shopping, sleeping till noon etc, we'll have to be back in lab.
Just when I thought I can rest for a few days, I received a text this afternoon (even before my paper) asking when I'll be back in lab.
Whoa, what a good start to my so-called holiday.
I rather take six modules than going to lab, seriously.
But it's not like I have a choice.
At least I have ONE DAY to rest and spend some quality time alone.
I'll probably catch up on some episodes of GG.
And most importantly, pack my room.

This reading week had been really tiring.
Dear and I tried hard to stay awake.
And we ended up doing stupid things.

And we can't seem to stop eating!
Definitely gain some weight these two weeks.

An expensive advertisement.
If you had been reading newspaper like Dear, you might have came across this advertisement.
Totally amazed.

Usually, advertisements are like this:

But here's what they did!

Intelligent, isn't it?

Anyway I love my hero camera.
Looks nice unedited.

Looks like everyone's going gaga over Lady Gaga's new album!
So am I!
Ever since her previous album, im hooked onto her songs!
I love it when she sings acoustic!
Like the version of Bad Romance she did on Ellen Degeneres Show!

And I totally love Speechless!

So high when I listen to her songs!

Should I wake up at 6am tomorrow so that I have more time to relax and do what I want before lab starts on wed?
One day is seriously not enough!
ARGH!

Monday, when funny things happened.

#1 Dear said something really funny.
On the topic of Surface Science, "You know what's the next topic he's gonna teach?"
"What?"
"Vibrator Spectroscopy."
Von and I went into fits of laughter and can't stop exclaiming what type of spectroscopy that can be!
(FYI, it's actually Vibrations of Molecules on Surfaces, which is nowhere near vibrator spectroscopy.)

#2 Von got scared by a "massive" (ang moh) man, which scare me, and which scare the man.
We laughed so hard that we almost can't make it back to the LT.

Tuesday, when we'd done glory for ourselves.
CM5244 presentation is a success (at least to me).
Our topic is an examinable topic and Dr Ong said we did a great job.
"I'll like to congratulate this group."
After that we joked that the references in our report will definitely be hot items now.
I even joked that the books might become RBR.
HAHA.
Our effort paid off.

Wednesday & Thursday, when I rushed from the moment I open my eyes to the moment I close my eyes.
Spent the entire two days in the lab until 9 and 8pm.
Rather not mention about it.
Am sick of it.

Today, when I got the day off and planned to complete some stuff.
And hopefully I can accomplish what I planned.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I finally bought it, after much difficulties (OOS and what-have-you).

HTC Hero.

And I got it a mirror screen guard.

That's the cai shen ye on our wall.

Very handy indeed.
My hp is also my mirror now.

Whether is it a Hero or Zero, it's still too early to conclude.
But so far, im loving it!

(Who What Wear)

I've always wanted to wear a winter coat.
Oh, but not the one with leopard
preens.
Not very into Safari.

Dear Jing Yeen,

Please treat me nicely.
I dislike sleeping for 5 hours last night; you failed to let me rest.
I dislike eating dinner at 11pm just now; you failed to feed me.
I dislike feeling lag and stupid; you failed to study and read up.
You need to catch up, please do something about it.

This is a gentle warning.
BUCK UP.

Yours faithfully,
Jing Yeen
